Renato Valente

Renato Valente is General Partner of Iporanga Ventures, a brazilian Venture Capital firm investing since 2011 in companies like Loggi, Stark Bank and Gorila. Currently, Iporanga is raising their Fund III focused on the “Future of Finance” thesis, which means fintechs, embedded finance and blockchain. Renato has been in the entrepreneurial ecosystem since 2009 when he founded an Adtech startup, Ocapi, sold in 2015. Before join Iporanga Renato acted as Brazil Country Manager for Telefonica Open Innovation, leading Wayra Brazil. There Renato was responsible for over 30 investments in companies like Gupy, Teravoz (Exit to Twilio) and Monkey Exchange. Crypto enthusiastic since 2013, Renato leads this practice at Iporanga.
