CJ Rinaldi brings more than 30 years of regulatory compliance, CCO, and leadership experience to the future of finance. He is responsible for building out Blockchain.com’s established global compliance frameworks, maintaining a durable compliance program that mitigates compliance risk, supervising client lifecycle management, and growing an already robust compliance team.

A former regulator and big bank compliance chief, CJ cut his teeth on financial regulation by serving as Senior Counsel in the Enforcement Division of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

That experience propelled him to Global Head of Client Infrastructure at UBS Investment Bank, and as Manager of Counterparty Relations at Bridgewater Associates. Most recently, CJ was the Chief Compliance Officer for Deutsche Bank’s US broker-dealer and its Head of Business Line Anti-Financial Crimes Compliance for the Investment Bank, overseeing a global team who ensured millions of transactions both protected their customers and kept criminals and bad actors at bay.
